Insurance Coverage Information

Orthopedic surgeon accepts insurance in Los Angeles

At Meier Orthopedic Sports Medicine, we’ve chosen not to contract directly with government or commercial insurance providers. This allows us to minimize the administrative hurdles that often come with insurance and focus fully on what matters most—delivering the highest quality, most advanced care to our patients without unnecessary delays or restrictions.

We understand that many patients use health insurance to help cover medical expenses. To support that, we’re happy to provide a detailed billing form, known as a “superbill,” upon request after your visit. You can submit this form to your insurance company, and depending on your individual plan, you may receive some reimbursement for services.

While patients are responsible for Dr. Meier’s fees as an out-of-network provider, many surgical procedures can still be performed at in-network surgical centers, where your insurance may help cover those facility costs.
